Below is a general explanation of how we work. The details of this may vary slightly depending on the scope of the project and the work required to plan and complete your job.

How we work:

The initial consultation is free and you are under no obligation. Our designer will visit your home and review the scope of your project and guide you in establishing a working budget. It is an informal survey to determine the most important aspects of the project and review your options before choosing a designer that you feel comfortable working with. Our designer will ask you the following:

Is your project more basic in nature? i.e.: new counters, flooring or appliances
Will this be a complete makeover from floor to ceiling?
Are you re-using appliances or other fixtures from your existing kitchen or bath?
Will the design involve expanding the existing space?
Does the project require moving walls, doors or windows?
Will you be using your own builder or contractor to install the products?
Are you planning on doing some or all of the work yourself?

Whatever your dream for the space might be, InnerSpaces Building &Design can help make it a reality. We can provide everything you need, assist with the design and supply all of the products. This will ensure the project goes from concept to completion through careful planning and our attention to the detail.

If you can, in preparation for the meeting please have on hand the following:

Any magazine articles or photos you’ve saved and think might work for your project
Appliance models and specifications (if selected)
Sketches or drawings of ideas for items you would  like included in your design
Architects drawings for your home if available.
A list of items to include in the new plan.
Thoughts or complaints you have about the existing space
Access to the areas around plumbing and electrical spaces

At the conclusion of this meeting, the designer will review the scope of the work and discuss his preliminary estimate and answer any additional questions you may have concerning his proposal.
If you decide to have InnerSpaces Building & Design prepare a design and floor plan, our designer will present you with a Design Retainer Agreement and specify the amount of the retainer. This is not a design fee and therefore reflects only a portion of the projected purchase price, and the amount of time required to prepare the plans and estimate. Should InnerSpaces Building & Design be authorized to complete all or a substantial portion of work proposed, the retainer fee will be credited in full towards the initial deposit for your order.

That’s it…. InnerSpaces Building & Design will handle all the details.

“Our mission is your total satisfaction"
